Steve has been in the industry for over 25 years. Initially designing hardware and programming in the medical electronics industry, then a stint at Cellnet designing and rolling out their wide area tcp/ip network, in the early ’90s. Steve then joined a small start-up called Demon Internet in 1994 and helped it grow to the largest consumer ISP. Demon was consumed by Scottish Telecom and floated as THUS Plc. Steve is CSO of DBVu Ltd a centralised database monitoring and performance analytics company (Google Analytics tm but with advice on how to fix issues before they become problems).. More recently Steve co-founded City Meets Tech which is trying to get City money into start-ups by holding pitch events and educational events for the City showing the advantages of investing in start-ups. James Rowsell is a Barrister by training but he has worked for over 25 years in various disciplines in Investment Banking at Paribas, James Capel, Salomon Brothers (latterly Citigroup) before joining Man Group and setting up an equity research and trading business which grew from a start up in 2004 to close to $100m revenues and $15m PBT within 5years. James was then CEO of MF Global Europe from 2009 - 2010 and is currently CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald Europe.
Ben’s been hanging around in startups for 15 years, he’s the co-founder of 3beards, paramete.rs, changeworks.io,TechBikers, The Ada Lovelace Academy and was previously Deputy-CEO of Tech City Investment Organisation.
